Sunday we headed up north to look for mushrooms. It was so nice to just walk around the woods and be away from everything. I love our little family excursions! My dad headed up with us. We could have gone all day but the kids got sick of it after the first couple of hours. I was bummed they didn't want to play in the woods anymore because I was really enjoying myself. We found about 2 dozen (more like my dad found most). I kept a few and they were so good when I finally ate them!!! We got to see a few wood cocks. We could walk right up on them which was cool for the kids to see. There was one I got a foot away from and was able to get a few cool pictures of and then she had two babies with her. I love being outdoors, you never know what you will see.
Mason and Emily were constantly falling down hence the picture with both on the ground. My dad nicknamed Emily "crash"!
